PUK Code

Recently i was playing around with my phone and i couldn't remember my security code, i entered the wrong one twice then went out of the menu and tried again, got it wrong and it still Puked my phone! But it was asking for the PUK2 Code not the PUK.

So i called up Optus and the guy said theres not PUK2 code just the PUK and that was in fact the one to unlock it! Anyway he said that if you PUK a phone 10 times, the phone's stuffed! Is this true? Does anyone know this for sure?

I know that it applies to the sim card, but i've never heard of it stuffing up a phone!

hey...looks as if u really pucked up ur phone :D eheh, well i dont think u can ACTUALLY stuff up a phone, but ive never tried, and im too scared to!...but doesnt the PUK2 code come up for the PIN2 code? try putting the PUK code in as a PUK2 code (becareful tho...) call optus again and demand that they help u
