I've been using Motorola HS-815 Bluetooth Headset with my Bluetooth enabled laptop (HP Pavilion dv1000) to make Skype calls. (I've also been using the systray app Vitaero to ease the Skype-Bluetooth experience.)
It works fine, except for the charge in my Motorola headset running out too quickly.
What I'd like to do is use my Bluetooth mobile phone (SonyEricsson K750i) as a Bluetooth headset instead of the Motorola headset.
I'm not talking about loading Skype onto the phone and making calls from the mobile phone, but about using the mobile phone as a Bluetooth headset.
However, the SonyEricsson phone does not offer "Headset" service to the PC. The phone can pair with the Motorola BT headset and the PC can pair with the Motorola headset, but the PC cannot pair with the phone, as if it were a headset.
I'm wondering is there a way to load "Headset" service onto the SonyEricsson phone, so that I can do this?
I'm guessing it could be done with a Java application on the phone. But it's possible that the Bluetooth services that can be offered by the phone are limited at the hardware level?
Anyone tried doing this kind of thing?
Regards,
Ronan.
