Yes its true...the much awaited v600 does exist after all and to prove it I have one!!!
I got fed up of seeing it advertised in all the phone store brochures only to find out it had been delayed further so imagine my surprise when I walked into my local o2 shop today and managed to actually buy one...the only one they had in fact! I saw the display model and went up to the guy on the counter with the usual ' any idea when you are actually gonna get this phone in stock?' question only to be told that they had received one, YES ONE, last night! Sometimes it appears fate does work in your favour cos I was having a crap day until then! Cost me £329.99 sim free but that also included a bluetooth headset with the phone, not a bad price I thought. Contract prices are £70 - £80. It is advertised on the o2 web site so dont know if they have any in stock but I must be one of the lucky few to have one in my hands right now!
First impressions.....looks like it has been worth the wait. The camera is excellent and the phone looks the business. I transferred ringtones and pictures from my t610 via bluetooth with ease and the ringtones are really good and loud too.
I havent had much chance to test it all out yet but will do and let you know my thoughts over the weekend.
Anyone who wants one...try your local o2 shop...you may be lucky?

do you know if the v600 will be available on O2 pay as you go? I know you said you purchased it sim free. I am hoping i may be able to get it pay as you go tho.

Doesnt look like it at the moment. Even if will be available on PAYG cant see it being any cheaper than buying it sim free really seeing as 7250 is around £200 and its a far better phone than that. My advice would be to wait and see what happens over the next month or so when they should become more widely available, although still will be in relatively short supply for the time being. It will be worth the wait promise you.
