6100 questions

I bought N6100 yesterday, I really think it is a great phone!

But I have two issues first of all why can't I send pictures through my IR? There's no choice to do such thing in the menu in my phone, I can only send contacts through it. It's kind of meaningless with an IR that only can send contacts and no pictures and so on. Can I fix this in any way?

Second question, can I upgrade it or install a java app which will make my phone read xtml pages?

You needs to install Nokia PC Suite, using the software, you can request for the picture from the phone.

I mean sending pictures from my phone to another phone. Not to my computer.
And what about xhtml?

The workaround I know is to use a PC to get the picture, than sent to the other phone.

Another method to send directly to another phone is MMS.

For xhtml, I think you can't do it, but I'm not very sure, can any experience Nokia user help to confirm it?

That's the weirdest thing I have ever heard! What the **** are you suppose to use the IR device for? I won't use it with my computer, the only reason why i wanted to have IR is so you can transfer stuff directly from one phone to another!

I knew that xhtml wasn't supported when I bought it so that doesn't make me angry at all, but about the IR, that's so ****ing stupid.

If you have read my other post, you should know that I was also very annoy by this stupid issue on a 6610, only Nokia knows why they exclude the feature since even the 8310 can do it... :(

hey, yea i know, the IR is pretty much useless unless sending stuff from your PC suite. You can download a java app which views html. i downloaded one for my 7650, and it works, but take s AGES to load up a page. there are two: cellhtml and webviewer.
