Has anybody been able to buy a V500 orange PAYG phone in the uk from Orange retail shops or any High Street shop.
According to Motorola UK they were out about three weeks ago.

there is a limited supply of V500, V525, and V600 phones due to trouble with sourcing camera components. The V525's here sold out in about a week.

Thanks Rev , guess I'll just keep looking. Its a bit sad that MOTOROLA don't realise what they are doing to there potentional customers, no wonder they aren't the worlds number one supplier of mobiles.

These are not yet out on PAYG. They have just started to come out on contract with some suppliers (mainly on the web) but as yet none on PAYG although the Carphone Warehouse are now advertising them at £149.99 on PAYG...there are none in stock as these shops always seem to advertise them 2 months before they actually arrive. The girl in my local orange shop knew bugger all about release dates as well! I have been waiting for the v600 now for months and according to motorola they should be here in a couple of weeks...my guess is that by the end of january the v300,v500,v525 and v600 will be available but not in very large numbers so get one while you can!
The v500 will be only be out on orange too, with the v525 on vodafone. Looks like o2 will only be taking the v600.

I doubt if you will be able to get it on PAYG? It is the flagship phone for Motorola and will almost certainly be only available on contract. It is advertised in the current O2 brochure sim free at 329.99 but its not out yet and may be delayed further?
