Michael,

I have recenlty purchased the P900 and my god this is the best phone one can purchase!!!

the PDA functions are great and in Hong Kong the reception is better than my old nokia!!!

The camera (when given enough light) is excellent!!! for wallet size photos.

However that comes to my present querry the camera has no built in flash and therefore evening shots and areas with poor sunlight have led to poor picture quality pictures, i would therfore like to ask if the MPF-10 is firstly compatable or not ofr the P900 and secondly if the flash is any good at providing a better picture quality.

if Michael or anyone else can shed some light (sorry pun intended) on the subject that would be great, thanks in advance

mike

It does work with the P900 but not exactly as it should. When using the flash with say a T610 or Z600 you can use the button on the flash to take the pic. When used on the P900 the flash stays in the on position and you still have to use any of the P900 buttons to take the pic.

It's not a very powerfull flash so it won't work for objects more than say 5 feet away but it does help for close-ups.

thansk fopr the advise have purchased the mpf-10 for about HK$300, it is well worth the cost. it is not designed for the p900 but supports the phone. and it has improved my photos in poor lighting dramatically. thanks for the advise

Got mine for my T630 at around that price too .. really helps in the dark .. and if you go into the menu, there are extras like: Flashlight, stroboscope, and SOS in case you get lost at sea :D
