Need Help With My N-gage!!!

so i punch in my code and it said sim restriction off....it was a fido so i put in a differnt carrier, (rogers to be exact) sim card into it and it says sim card not valid!!!!
can anyone help me out here and tell me if i did something wrong thanks yall
any help would be dope peacee!!!

Well, did you try another SIM card? Maybe that one's just defective...

Make sure all the locks are undone. So use the +7 code. If that doesn't work try the other ones (most likely +1).
