I have found both the v300 and v500 on phones4.co.uk. I have been told i am unable to get either on O2 pay as you go. The v300 is around £152.00 and the v500 is £159.99. Only an £8.00 diff. Are both reliable phones? I know they are cheap for what they offer, yet are they good purchases. Which would you reccomend?. I am looking at the v500 on orange pay as you go, or the v300 on t-mobile. I have only ever had O2, What about these two networks? Any preferences?

Never been on either networks (I know...duh in NYC ;) ) But if given a choice with a difference of only 8 pounds I'd go for a v500. Bluetooth and Quadband for only 8 pounds more....why wouldn't you go for a v500?

Edit: For the record I use T-mobile in NYC...

Join the club, I have been waiting for the V500 since early november in the uk on pay as you go(Orange that is).I have sent numerous e-mails to Orange, and the usual uk retailers and there answer is keep watching the websites. But alas I was in a retailers today 04/01/04 and they say the apparent stock shortage should be replenished within two weeks.Chin up keep waitin your not alone.
P.s If you are thinking of getting a V300 ,my mate got one on t-mobile two weeks ago and is sick of dropping it because the case is too slippy.
