i am an owner of a 3650 and feel the need for a new phone i love the t610 model and design but the screen in my opinion is very difficult to read especially during text messages in strong light. therefore i have waited for the t630 but it still has not arrived in the uk. i was wondering if anyone could tell me when this little beauty will be out here in the uk and also how much it will cost sim free or on pay as you go o2 as i can only spend upto 250£ for the phone maximum and if all this waiting for the t630 is destroy through its price range i would be extremely irrritated . any feed back will be much appreciated. thanks!:)

T630 has been released in Asian countries for a few months. I'm using one right now and I paid around £230 for it.
I read they will be releasing it Q1 of this year to the rest of the world, so keep your eyes open :D

I got my first sight of the T630 at a UK retailer yesterday., on the T-Mobile network. Price depends on the contract, but at most it's £110 and free on most call plans.
Those people who got a T610 for Christmas are gonna be *really* annoyed..

Yes, he should be able to buy the T630 in Hong Kong. Prices can vary from vendor to vendor, but if he pays anything above HK$3,180 he is paying way too much. Some shops sell it for less than HK$3,000. Make sure there is a long rectangular white warranty sticker in Chinese and English inside (about 4" in length) - it means the warranty is supported by Sony Ecrisson Hong Kong, and it is not a parallel import. The phone by default is set to Chinese interface, so make sure your dad asks the salesperson to switch it to English for him. The user's manual and software come in both Chinese and English in the package.
Happy shopping.
