The T610 Doesnt feature a screen saver option?Only the digital clock. You cant set say a picture youve taken?
Also can you just have a picture youve taken as wallpaper, and turn the screen saving off complete?'

Nope, only digital clock.
No, you can't turn the screensaver off. It is mainly designed as a way to minimise stand-by battery usage.

It does have what ot calls a screensaver, which is a picture you choose which appears for 30 frames.
If you want that to constantly appear instead of the clock, you'll have to make it under 30 frames so it will keep repeating itself and not reach the 30 frames required for it to switch to the clock.
(I think 30 frames is right)

Unfortunately the screensaver on the T610 can be anything you want but it only shows for about 25-30 seconds at most.
You can have a static picture and it will still go to the clock in the same way the t68 and t68i did, and there is no way to turn it off.
Not exactly a big thing though because after about 35 seconds, the screen turns off so that the battery doesn't die within the day.
Personally, I'd rather have the battery life than a screensaver that you never see because the phone is in your pocket anyway!
