6230 help please

just got a brand new 1 gb memory card 4 my 6230.but the only problem is when i try to put music on it, it only stores 155mb.when i go to details it say size:155mb but then when i go to memory status it say Size:972.9mb.
can any one help me solve this problem please:confused: :D

I never tried putting a 1 Gb mem card in my 6230 but nokia's website says that it supports up to 512 mb memory cards, did the people at the store you bought it from tell you that it'd work?
Also, did you try copying several folders of 150 megs of mp3 each?

bought it online i:mad: s i may have 2 upgrade the firmware because when i formatted the card it continued 2 say 150mb

this fone dont support 1gb memory card only 512 the most
