Does anyone know where I can get those masks from?:D

The film was quite good, surprisingly complex (many points friends and I were completely bewildered, perplexed by intricate plot situations.

Don't read on if you haven't seen it.

The thing that really confused us most was who the V guy was. Saw the trailer but didn't know who was in it apart from Natalie Portman.

At first we thought it could be Steven Fry. When he turned up in the film we thought yes it might be him, apart from that the V guy was in shape and that Steven was, well a little far from that. The film I think tries to make us believe its him, a few scenes makes us think twice...

Until I remembered..."hello Mr Anderson"...it was Agent Smith aka Hugo Weaving. Still wasn't completely sure though - even to the end...I must confess that we never really pay too much attention to the movie...we got to a point we were so confused we thought it could be anyone...:p:rolleyes:

Quite a few things though really just didn't make sense - I guess it just requires watching again.

Anyways, I checked on eBay for these masks - £30! pffft!

LOL why and what were you confused about??

I LOVED THE MOVIE! Like until halfway I couldn't figure out who 'V' was, but then it clicked to me...I'm like DUH Elrond!:p (I prefer him in LOTR than in the Matrix because imo that movie was overrated)...in any case, I especially loved that the setting's in England rather than America because obviously we wouldn't have the accent and to me it'd just be another bitchy conspiracy theory type thing. I was laughing inside when he did the V-alliteration speech...I understood about 80% of it I was so proud:D

What I especially liked about V for Vendetta is that while it did deal with a serious issue, it still managed to be whimsical and light-hearted. Otherwise, it would've just be two hours of whining imo!

Remember, remember the 5th of November!

ENGLAND PREVAILS! haha

Why was I confused? Well we kept talking and laughing through the movie (there werent that many funny bits but we were taking the mickey because we've seen those actors before. Like Stephen Fry - we were kidding around about his twinings advert - its one of those "youve got to be there" things to find it funny.

What were we confused about? Well the parts we didn't pay attention to. :D I can't remember now.

I didn't realise how long it would be. My friends just called me and 2 seconds later picked me up. We don't really go to watch the movie.

Those masks though - we were thinking theyd be fair awesome for fancy dress parties (yeah we still have those, and yeah theyre still cool!)
