Thanks to all the fine work of the members of this forum and this (http://www.windowsdevcenter.com/pub/a/windows/2005/07/05/bluetooth.html) very helpful tutorial I am able to connect my Sony Ericsson HBH-608 and Motorola HS820 headsets to my PC. Unfortunately, I am only able to get sound through the headsets speakers. I have not been able to get the microphone on either headset to work, and am at a loss to discover what is wrong.
I have adjusted the audio playback and voice recording settings on the Sound and Audio Devices tabs (hence the audio through the headset). I have tried testing the microphones using Windows diagnostics, MSN messenger's voice and audio analyzer, Total Recorder, and Dragon NaturallySpeaking. None of the above recognize the existence of the microphone. I have brutally squashed the SP2 Bluetooth drivers. As far as I can tell, everything should be working.
Any advice for troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.
