I have this simple question that I havn't seen being discussed anywhere.

Does the screen stays as is when you re-open the flip?

For instance, I went for shopping, I got my P900 out, open the flip, check my purchase list on todo listing. Then I close the flip, put it back into my pocket, keep shopping. After a while, I want to check anything I have forgotten, so I took my phone out again, then open the flip.

Now would the screen show up as was when I closed the flip, or goes back to whatever default screen(menu screen, phone screen etc)?

This is very important for me because I currently use motorola razr to do this kind of function and whenever I close the flip it goes back to its default phone screen so I have to click through the menu to go back to my todo list which is very annoying, especialy when I have lots of things to buy and frequently check back at it.

please help.

thanks.

By default It goes back to whatever app u were in. After installing some programs, u can set it to start up whatever app u want it to. Magic launcher does that.

Thanks Boasy. I appreciate your help.

Does the screen visible and usable under direct sunlight? I heard screen is quite dim and if it is what I think, it might not be able to view under direct sunlight.

thanks.

That is not true. It is quite visible under direct sunlight. TFT screens if I am not mistaken are all quite visible in direct sunlight. There are TFD screens like those in a SE T610 or Z600 I cant remember which one cuz both of those are different, which arent very readable under dirct sunlight. The P910i's screen is the most commonly used mobile screen.

The sun I think trumps LCD screens as a general rule:cool:

Yeah but it still doesn't matter...LCDs are still a pain to use in direct sunlight...
