Branded as the Toshiba 803 in the UK and Europe, Vodafone 803T in Japan. For some reason, Smartone use a different naming convention from either.

i see......then how come nobody has said anything about the 803 yet here? seems to be a decent spec'd phone

I an thinking about purchasing this phone but would like to read a review or two first. I haven't been able to find anything. If there are reviews out there please post a link. If it hasn't been reviewed yet would MobileBurn or a TX60 owner do a review and post it.

I looked at one of these on Vodafone UK and was really looking forward to getting one. Needless to say I ended up with a Nokia 6280. The Toshiba is very cheap feeling, very............ We're not very goot at making mobile phones but excellent at making TV's. Don't bother with it, just look at that state of the art external screen, I can't even count the vast number of colours that screen can produce.... oh wait it's 2.

I am debating between the the Toshiba TX60, Samsung X800 and Pantech PG-8000. The more I look at pics of the Pantech the more I want it. I got an email from a friend of mine who said he heard that the reception on the Toshiba wasn't that good. Anyone care to comment on it's reception?
