i know it's over priced and ****, but damn, it's tiny and compact. how reliable is it? i wanna mainly use it for when i travel or throw it around at home to use it over wifi when my other laptop(which my family members are using all the time).
I know it lacks a CD drive, and only has 1 USB port.
what are your thoughts on the OQO? any reviews?
thanks!
EDIT: comes in different secs too...

Wow! Its awesome!
If I had the cash to burn, and I wanted a powerful pc in my pocket then yeah this is ideal. It looks impossibly small. (Somehow its real life dimensions on my screen)

I did to back in 2002. Im over it now. And, I think they are too, since, cellphones are rivaling the basic mobile experience :)
PDAs that is. Looking at it, you think its special.. maybe 3 years ago it was, but certainly not anymore. Its just my opinion.. it certainly is an awesome feat of miniaturization, but small isnt everything, especially when you have to hold it up to your face to use it :)~

I was immensely excited when I first saw this too, but the lack of DVD drive is just too much when that would be the main reason of getting a laptop for me. Still, it's pretty cool:D

Marwan, it is touchscreen, i however read that it is a bit heavy for one-handed operation, but being fully functioned windows is extremely cool!

oh, forget it then. i'll stick to my 770 and if i wanted windows, i'd get a JasJar or something like that.

Yeah it's a cool gadget, but I think it's trying to be both a PDA and a laptop, but doesn't quite do either.

does anyone have any experience browsing the net on PPCs over wifi? are they fast? or does it take time for the device to display the graphics and stuff?(like mobile phones...3G does a better job than GPRS ofcourse)

The browser on the 770 is as close to the desktop as you can get. On PPC/Windows Mobile, browsing is horrible. Speed is just a tad second slower on the PPC than a regular PC on a WiFi connection, but you will barely notice.
