I am new to this and I'm confused. I have a Nokia 6600 and have downloaded the PC Suite software for this phone, but I do not have a bluetooth enabled PC or infrared port on my PC. Do I now also need to purchase Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop for Bluetooth and install that before I can connect my phone to my PC? If so, what version - there are so many - Elite? Comfort? 3.0? Thanks for your help.

I think either one of them will be fine...Microsoft says you can connect up to 7 devices so I can't see why not

A Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard, while advertised as being able to connect seven devices, only works with the HID (Human Interface Device) profile, and therefore can only work with things like mice and keyboards - not your phone.

Pretty much any old Bluetooth dongle will work, they can be had quite cheaply (much cheaper than the MS keyboard) and just connect via USB.

Oh okay...I actually just got a Bluetooth dongle/headset/MP3 player/voice recorder/flash drive (the Leo BTH300) and it's pretty decent. I'm so excited to finally use PC Suite!:D
