6630 and CIF videos!

hey does anyone know if there's some software (free preferably) to play CIF res videos on the 6630.. thanks!

I don't think so as no player supports such a format.
But u should try PVPLAYER, it may just do the trick.:)

CIF is not a video format...it's a video resolution:rolleyes:

Why CIF? Why not the native 174 x 132?

Native is 208 x 176 ion these S60 devices (bar the newer ones) and Smartmovie can convert files to Xvid in this size for fullscreen.

Yeah. But Smartmovie will play at this resolution.

There is no point trying to play higher resolution videos,

one they generaly won't play,

two if they somehow do, you cant see the difference.

hmmmm.. wait im gonna scam some friends of mine in college.. nokia has given them 3 3230s to use for some project on symbian OS.. hehe.. i'll make em write some software!!!
