Yeah, its good stuff.

Gnarls Barkley is Cee-Lo Green (of the Goodie Mob) and produced by DJ Dangermouse whose production on Gorillaz last album is fantastic.

Oh yeh indeed read up on all this this since hearing Crazy a few months back...first time I heard it I knew it was going to be huge hence original post.

The album is going to be huge and a thankfully fresh sound after the slew of bump-de-bump R&B cr@p that has been surfacing of late...

LOL when I first read the title, I thought someone just didn't know how to spell "Charles":p

Lol when I found the tune I thought it was sarcasm....

He (Gnarles, Cee-loo already is) is going to be big

Hate to say I was right and the bookies wouldn't let me put any money on the "online" charts....

Gnarls, aka singer Cee-Lo Green and DJ Dangermouse, topped the hit40uk chart, selling over 31,000 copies before their CD is even released. It is released on April 3.

What advert was this song used for?

Also - I thought the dowload chart was completely separate from physical cd singles...

So its just sales over all huh?

question is what hasn't it been used for - BBC started on the Radio one show advert...

As long as it is released on normal formats within a week download can now count entirely - I am gutted as this would have been a long shot....had this tune in Feb and knew instantly it was gonna chart...

Same with Akon and lonely - going to search around as quite easy to spot some number ones these days...

Genius song, and Joe your right you can easily spot a number one song a mile off. I wonder how many CDs Crazy will shift, I mean 31k sales is moderate for a number one so with cds I think it could easily go over 100k sales this week!

It should do really well on downloads let alone hard copy sales...

spent my youth as a DJ and got so many white lables that weeks/months/years later held the top spot....just got to find a bookies who'll take the risk so I can make some serious money...

His next release Daddy Gone will be a number one as well - the whole album is catchy......annoyingly so...
