Asians? Europe has those phones as well.
If there's any exact race who radiates the "make you jealous of our phones" appeal its the japanese. Their like Woah.

whatever, cnet asia is better about cellphones than cnet is, but i dont really trust either of them for phone reviews.
This is just the top 10 in Singapore, which I think would have different tastes than a lot of the other Asian countries that have newer carrier technology.

I wish they would do a "per country" survey - and not just from asia. Polls and surverys like this can be important to someone who's in the market for a phone and wants to know what's the best that's out.

The one I really don't trust and ABSOLUTELY LOATHE is About.com...that fool does not know ANYTHING!
K maybe I'm exaggerating, but his reviews and technical specs have SO many errors it's quite frustrating:mad:

I find CNET's reviews overall quite reliable. At times I personally find some things are biased. Sometimes if they like a device, they will not point out so many flaws whereas if another device has those similar flaws they will indeed be pointed out straight away.
I more or less agree with their top 5 here.

This doesn't represent the best-sellers of Asia, just Singapore, which in the first place is such a small market anyway. For example, the Nokia N70 would most definitely not be the best-selling phone in Malaysia.
I also dislike CNET Asia reviews because they fail to understand product positioning and price-feature ratio.
For example, how can the Moto L6 be critisised for having only a VGA camera and no memory expansion, when it has been intended from the start as an entry-level fashion phone and is free on contract?

Yeah I hate that when they don't take product positioning and price-feature ratio into consideration...it's like, HELLO the point of the phone was to be cheap!

Well maybe their just trying to target a very narrow audience who have money to burn thus cheapy phones will be compared directly to more expensive counterparts on similar criteria, indifferent to the fact of price.

Still, then they need to categorize it as low-end, mid-end, and high-end, which is what WE do anyways:cool:
