... so having video calls, seeing the person you're talking to at the same time, isn't so revolutionary after all. :D

Yeh but you try fitting that in your pocket...and only $250 !!! so cheaper than a V3x lol

Also that pic looks a bit static - any idea on the the screen rate ? 0.5fps ? gotta love history, Nokia started with car+truck tyres after all and now dominate the mobile phone world...!

Its not a moving picture, the image states its just a 'picture' will apear, says nothing about video.

I dont really know how it works.. but i'd imagine there's some type of carrier wave (ala fax machine) that would play as soon as the person answered. That would trigger one of the photos in that big box to pop into the little glass window.

That's how things worked back then.. I remember helping set up a trigger to hang up and disconnect a modem remotely back in the day..
