Which band does cingular use in california the 1900 or the 850 mhz....

usually?? can i live on the 1800 band?? or do i need the 1900 coz i dont have 850 on my phone...

Cingular uses 850 and 1900 on their phones. Period. The band switches automatically depending on the needs of the phone/network, and where you are. (though, no when on an actual call)
1800 is not used in this country at all. Neither is 900.

heh neither 1800 nor 900 [for cellular service purposes] is used in this supercontinent AT ALL except Brazil...

yeah i might if i have time.. probably in three weeks or so.... cali coz my cousin's there so ****s free hehe.. plus his bro will be performing in new york... so might go there.. lets see am not really sure..

hey! I live in New York, lol. And if youre coming here, why on earth would you be interested in using Cingular? If youre going to be in California and New York, T-Mobile is the way to go.

Yeah and plus you wouldn't have to worry about the whole 850MHz...
