270c question

I recently was given a 270c at work and the phone has great reception. I purchased one on ebay to get the accessories and planned on using the phone on my personal account with Alltel wireless. The phone is locked and I want to know if anyone knows how to get around that so my local office can flash the phone for use on my cell network? Thanks.
