Hey all.
Didn't have the best start to the year... i left my phone (motorola e398) on top of my car... when i remebered i went back around where i had driven and found it in the middle of the road all smashed up :( So time for a new one!

I'm in New Zealand, and 3g has just been released, so i want to get a 3G phone that works on Vodafone.

My last two phones have been a SE t610 and a Moto e398. and i've decided to go with a Clamshell/flip phone. I think i prefered the SE software over the Moto, but thats not that important.

SO heres the details:
BUDGET - about $3-400US
USER - moderate user, txting mainly
FEATURES -
must have: Camera, at least 1 MP (must be a good camera)
Video (at least 10 sec recording)
Video Playback
Flash on phone
256k screen
Expansion SLot (for memory)
be good to have -
Bluetooth
MP3 playback
Speaker Phone
Optical Zoom (but i don't think theres any in my budget?)

And yea, i'd prefer to try a Flip phone.
And i don't want it to be TOO big (like tht SE v800s is getting big for me)

I've just been looking at the Motorola v1050... but i haven't looked at anything else yet.

So lemme no what u think.
Thanks

yea i can get it set up for NZ vodafone.

Looks pretty good.
Whats the camera like on it?
And how long vid clips does it take?
Would it be better than the Moto v1050 (excl price comparisions)

Thanks

cool - just been reading some reviews on it.
sounds good apart from a few problems:

Battery life seems to be bad (or maybe its just for some of them)
the alarm is dodgy - and this is a big no no for me, i rely on my phone alarm everyday!
theres no flash - most of teh pics i take are in low light conditions... and i no it doesn't do much, but it does help (and it makes it easier to edit on my pc)

so i've found the z300... sure its a bit bigger, but it has the flash, not as much software problems, and it has a speaker phone.

So i'll spend another few days looking around, otherwise i might get this.

thoughts?
