new concept??? iPod xs
Let's face it - in the digital world, size does matter. We like our devices small, but who wants to compromise their sound? With the new iPod xs, we've compressed all of the sound that you could ever ask for in a package that you have to see - and hear - to believe.
Your sound at your fingertips. Weighing in almost half an ounce, and measuring at only a little more than a quarter, the iPod xs is small enough to fit in your pocket, but it is stylish enough to fit with your music.

I cant wait for this new design...

Yeah but you can tell from the look it's just someone who's done a photoshop jobby, don't think it exists. And you can't have a useful screen that size, with that size text (my guess is it's and older concept cause ther person copied the old ipod screen).

A quareter is about a £2 coin size - and yes this is so photoshop..Apple have soiled customers enough already without releasing yet another smaller model into an already saturated market...
Stil shedding a tear about Rio selling out - they were miles ahead and of all the players I have had/tested still rate highest at playback - even in WMA..

How is it a concept when all they did is photoshop a design that already exists?
HAHAHAHA.

UGH again...WAY TOO SMALL. I already lose too many quarters as it is:p The only way not to lose this is to wear it as a ring or pendant:p

Yeah that is very true. However with these new fancy polymer-based screens (OLED) you can have quite nice small screens embedded flat. I was in Japan recently checking out some new Sony players and I was really impressed with the screens (monochrome).

I didn't mean you can't build screen that size, but I meant literally it would be hard to read that text because it would be tiny.

Hard to read? Screens that small just loose their purpoose if they try to display information like their bigger screened brothers.
However, they could have a scrolling feature (which would be annoying) where the font would be bigger...

Well, if you think about it, there's all this wasted space on the iTunes interface...
If you utilized that, it shouldn't really be a problem:cool:
