When are the new phones from SE supposed to come out? i've heard around november?? Im anxiously waiting for the new batch of phones to roll out before i make a decision on buying something..... but the waiting is killing me :(

I have to agree, waiting is a killer. Im pretty sure the next SE upgrade to the P800 will be my next phone, that is if nothing else I have been looking at is released. The P800 successor - if only for the Opera browser and multi-client IM program newly released on handango. Nice nice :)

A press release by SE on 22nd of August 2003 wrote:

"In conjunction with Sony Dreamworld, being held in Paris September 4-7, Sony Ericsson will host a press conference in the morning of September 3 to preview new fun and stylish products and to discuss trends in mobile imaging and entertainment."

So one week to go before they announce their new line up and hopfully not to much longer after that till they start releasing them as I'm also hanging for the P810/P900

Does anyone know yet if the P800 replacement will be called a P810 or P900?

It will likely be in their next press release.

Yeah, I would expect it to be announced at the same time as the T620/T630.

When that will be, I have no idea. SE hasn't officially ackowledged the device, but there certainly are a lot of images floating around the net of it....

Yeah, but that wouldn't happen before December so the phone wouldn't be out until sometime in 2004 :rolleyes:

I don't expect to see the phones in retail channels until Q1 '04 at the earliest.

Lets hope that they don't do a repeat of the p800 release and keep moving the date forwards... but hey, we all know that's not gonna happen. They've learnt from their mistakes.
