Hello,
Im thinking of buying one for my sis. Like if you were to choose, would you choose this over a 6230i? Or how about a 3230? Since they're almost at the same price. Any opinions would help.
Thanks.

hi there,
compared to the 6230i... the 6111 is definitely cuter. It's more compact, it's newer, and has a slider form factor. Would I choose it over a 6230i?... mmm, depends really on what and how Im gonna use it for. The 23MB internal memory of the 6111 should be enough for most people - but if I really want to use the phone as an mp3 player, the expandable memory 6230i should be my choice.
The 3230, on the other hand, is a smartphone. If you want a symbian phone - then go for that. But for myself, I'd go with either of the 2 series 40's above, because unlike the 3230 - both are in stereo and they sound better.
cheers!

i love the 6111! was gonna buy it for ma mamma but it took longer than expected to come out.
out of the three phones you listed, i think the 6111 is most suited for a girl. the 3230 is too big and the 6230i is too "normal" looking.

Hi there,
Yeah I'm looking at getting this for may parents but have 2 questions...
What is the photo quality like, does any one have a link to a site with some pics taken with it ?
Also does it take memory cards ?
i thought it didn't but Ive read most 2 different sites now that say something along the line of this ---
"The phone comes with 23MB internal memory before you insert a memory card"
So any owners out there that can confirm if it does..
Thanks all

3230 too big?? My 18-year-old female friend only has a 3660:rolleyes:
j/k I know what you mean...but wow that's so sad when the 3230 is too big...honestly, it's not like their fragile creatures that can't stand more than 2lbs of load. The 3230 is already like one of the smallest S60 phones...

well, it all depends on the size of your hand.
my friends say my hands are huge, i think they are normal.
anyway, girls tend to have smaller hands and phones that I might see as alright might be a little too big for them. the 3230 is not a very good example since it aint that big.
also guys tend to wear pants with big pockets, so fitting a big phone is no problem, but girls wear pants/skirts with little/no pockets so they need a small phone.
thats just the way i look at it...
