hi there,
can someone please help me with my rs-mmc? I was using a 6630 to text, then suddenly the phone hanged, so I had to turn it off then on again.
when the phone restarted - the default theme showed up.
I wondered why that happened - so I went to the memory card menu (in Organizer) then the phone said "memory card corrupt". What the?
After several attempts of restarting the phone and taking the card in and out - I took the mmc and inserted it to my card reader. The card reader said the same, "memory card not formatted."
I then inserted the card back to the phone - then tried to reformat it using the phone, the formatting bar stops at 1/4 then the phone hangs again.
..... now what do I do? Is the card dead? Is there a way to recover or format it somehow? Any suggestions?
:( :( :(

I wonder what happened? And why the card got "corrupted"??
sigh... I'd appreciate any other suggestions.
thanks.

update:
I've tried everything - insert it in another 6630, then a 6680, then I tried to reformat it using mmc-medic, then bought it to Nokia and have them try to reformat it... no success, the card's dead.
I guess I have to buy another one....
