I've got the code to type in to unlock, but I can't work out where to tap it in. I was told that the phone asks for it on start up but mine doesn't, and if I type it in as though I were dialing a number it doesn't do anything other than 'not executed'.

Any ideas?

You where given the correct code. You may try the blue code, but only once. You get 10 goes before this phone will hardlock.
