convert K750c to K750i

like the title, I tried upgrading firmware to latest L35 (or R something 35) but that didn't change the model...
still says K750c

it was given to me by a family relative, so this phone has some chinese references that I won't be able to use (cuz it's China Mobile)

anyone know how I can turn it into Canadian/American version? or...something like that :P

Looked into this a while back - no direct route that I'd use for fear of messing the handset up....spoken to the manufacturer ?

Use the flashing program from DavinciTeam. I did it myself. I bought my K750 from Hong Kong because it was much cheaper than over here, then flashed it with European firmware.

where did you get the firmware? the official SE site downloads automatically and so I couldn't choose...
