w800i backlight

just been reading these forums for help on my new w800i, you guys are already helpin me out loads with your feedback to other peoples problems that im already starting to come across.

my problem is the backlight... it automatically goes down after like 7 seconds...even while playing javagames!
its so damned irritating and i dont know how to modify the backlight timer :(

mmm, that's a peculiar problem you have there... Im curious to find out the answer to this one too.

When you say 'Even in Java games,' do you mean while you are actually pressing buttons or while you are waiting for it to load? It is by design that the keypad backlight goes off and the screen backlight dims after a short period without pressing keys - reguardless of what app is running.
