Hi

Im constantly on bluetooth almost 24/hours day.. that's my main connection..

I've been using the usb cable just to transfer lots of files back and forth.. and sometimes to do overnight charging of my phone (which was the case last night)

This morning wanted to trasnsfer files, but i couldnt find DRIVE F: (which was the removable hard drive letter of my k750 whenever it's conected)..

so i removed the cable from the phone and connected it again.. same problem.. no new drive in explorer.. weird thing is it does say CHARGING..

i kept retrying still nothing..

is this a normal occurance? what could be wrong here? any ideas?

1) How can i access the Applications and Games folder from my Computer? USB cable nor MobileAgent dont show them two folders. I wanted to delete some games and applications from my computer and not from the phone.

2) Where do i go to set the k750 to save files to memory card by default?

Please advise guys

yes yet another stupid question..

But i'd just want to know quickly if it was even possible for a phone to connect to the internet via PC's internet connection?

sorry if it sounds stupid, just new to this stuff.

Yes, it's possible if your phone has SyncML. With most smartphones and almost all of the series 40's (nokia) - this feature enables your phone to act as the 'modem', then you just connect by using the Internet connection of your PC or Laptop. (which the phone has to sync with).

With a K750, it doesn't really say "syncML".... but it is listed as "modem" in the specs page: (see link)
http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=global&lc=en&ver=4001&template=pp1_1_1&zone=pp&lm=pp1&pid=10242

All you have to do now is to decide which type of sync you want, IR or Bluetooth.

cheers!

clever.J i would appreciate it if you lumped everything into one thread instead of opening mulitple threads with slightly different variations of the same query.

Ok. A possibility that why your K750i is not detected by your windows is that windows is buggy / unstable. try restarting windows , and after the computer has booted up and you are running windows, then you connect the K750i to the PC.

thanks mate! looked around in my connectivity menu, i cant seem to find where i can set settings and stuff for this purpose. mind showing me the way? or atleast give me a jump start.. i can probably figure out the rest.. just need to know where to start.

thanks stars.. will do..

although... this thread is about filesystem of k750 and the thread you moved into this one is a thread about trying to connect to the internet.. i thought they were different enough to be posted as new thread.. arent they? Please clarify what you meant by "lightly different variations of the same query" in relation to the 2 seemingly different topics... (unless you meant all of my queries regarding the k750i phone)..

yes indeed.. rebooting did fix it. thanks. thought my cable was broke! whew
