G'day all,

I am in the market for a new mobile and after consideration, I think I have narrowed it down to an SE, but am having some trouble making the final decision. I like the form factor of both phones, but I must admit the orange/white of the W800 really doesn't do it for me at all. Saying that though, if the W800 is clearly a better choice I will purchase it, as I am going for functionality not colour in the end.

I'd like to know a few things if anyone is able to help:

1) Are there any major hardware differences between the two?

2) Is there any difference in sound & earphone quality?

3) If I opt for the K750i and flash it to W800, I am assuming that I will just have a W800 in a black or silver case. Am I correct?

4) Brad from NSW, if you're reading this... From reading some of your other posts, I am assuming you have purchased an asian model and flashed it? Have you had any trouble with your EU firmware and what version would you recommend?

My priorities for a phone are: Good signal strength & clarity of calls, MP3 sound quality, phonebook - ease of use and speed in retreiving numbers, texts - ease of use and intuitive predictive text with a user expandable dictionary, effective organiser function and multiple alarms. Plus of course the 2MP camera.

Any answers, comments and advice are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Brad

well, to be honest, both phones are more or less the same, apart from a few little things. the major difference is that with the w800 you get a 512mb card with it, whereas the k750 you only get a 64mb. the w800 has a better music player, which works pretty much like an i pod. sound quality is better on the earphones also and you can use your own earphones as there is a 3.5mm jack ont he provided ones. other than colour, that is the only real differences.

with regards to your requirements for a phone, i think w800 would be best and will satisfy your needs.
i have had mine for 2 months now and im lovin it, its your choice
