hi,
i bought a data cable today and have set it all up to flash the phone. i'm using the corona software, with the latest firmware and i've checked the com port for the cable which is now set at COM 1 @ 11520. The problem is, this is a USB data cable, and uses a birtual com. but it is still there. this cable doesnt have a battery attached to it. dont think it needs to because its a usb not a serial cable. i've correctly loaded the files into corona but when i press start, it just waits at the "POWER ON" stage. and doesnt go any further.
if anyone could help me out it would be great (btw, i've read all the forum and nothing seems to help).
does it matter i'm using a usb with a vitual com port?
does it matter it doesnt have a battery?
does the sim card have to be in or out of the phone (didnt make a difference so far tho)?
any other help would be much appriciated :)
