Nokia have shown new device with touch screen in PT/Wireless and Networks Comm China 2005.

A new Nokia 6807 running the Symbian 7.0 and UIQ 2.1 platform and brings features like a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash, SD slot, MP3 player, QVGA touch screen, and weighs-in at 5.3 ounces. if you guys don't know.. the nokia 6708 is actually the model BenQ P31 put out under cover of Nokia. i did'nt know that nokia did these things.... =.=

the reason why they did this is to surprise us. to take undercover, to hear more gossip so they can make some improvements... good one nokia...:)

It's quite old too, insn't it?

I vaguely remember some comment when the Nokia 7200 clamshell was launched that it *wasn't* actually Nokia's first clamshell at all, because they done an OEM deal to get something out in AsiaPac with a Nokia badge glued on it.

Seriously though, a pen-based Nokia smartphone would be pretty cool.

Nokia did the same thing in Japan back in 2000, the J-NM01 & J-NM02 made for J-Phone were actually Sanyo phones with a Nokia logo

I was just about to ask when Nokia was gonna come out with a UIQ device...

Now the question is, when will they release one that's actually theirs;)
