hi there,

In the country where you're at - is Bluetooth famous? Like when you go out for a walk, or pass by a cafe', or hang out in your favorite coffee shop - do you see everyone with a phone using bluetooth?

Not only for headsets, but also in exchanging numbers, files and other stuff.

cheers!

Not really famous, only limited circles use it.

But even if i did walk into my favourite coffee shop and I see people with phones, I wouldnt know they are necessarily using bluetooth.

Most people in school send pictures n videos now via bluetooth...after being convinced its free..

Usually only the guys know what Bluetooth is...a lot know of it, but most don't use it. I only know of one person who uses Bluetooth...heh I think he's the only one I've seen use Bluetooth ever...very sad

heh no kidding...since I was a bit naive about cellphone viruses last year, and plus I thought perhaps my aunt or uncle sent me the message, I accepted one last year in the Philippines...thankfully, I had just backed up my settings right after arriving and so I just reset my phone and all was well:D

It's not really that famous. Sure people know of the technology - but I think only limited circles use it.

Except maybe for the country of Saudi Arabia. I read a post here about bluetooth becoming very popular and famous there because they use it communicate - instead of talking.

tnx-1clk

Bluetooth is quite famous if you're Danish - he's Harold I of Denmark. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_Bluetooth
