Text from a letter sent to their CEO yesterday..

BE WARNED this company really is Crap big style

Dear Mr Rasmussen

Having joined your company yesterday & left again today, parts of your customer services are a disgrace.

Have received my welcome letter this morning at no point does it state that the number supplied is a temporary number until porting takes place which is confusing to say the least, when I also received cards with my new number on.

Also contained on the cards & the letter it provides information on recommending a friend.

Having 3 times this morning my wife tried to register & 3 times was told that Voucher number 079624***** is not valid or the number is not active, on speaking to your live chat I was told I needed to wait 2 hours for my activation to be complete.

Some 6 hours later we try again, same problem & again on you live chat “Elliot G” whom looked into my account didn’t understand why it wasn’t working as all was up and running your end & suggested I email the details in & I replied I would phone in instead.

My Wife having phoned in spoke to “MZ” she tried to explain that she wanted to register but wasn’t getting anywhere & as she is hard of hearing she passed the phone to me & on me saying hello the reply was and I quote “What” from your “MZ” on saying to “MZ” what do you mean by “what” he quickly said how can I help you, no apology offered, but anyways having explained the situation again, “MZ” said it could only be done over the internet so clearly he hadn’t been listening in the first place so after explaining it AGAIN he decided he would do the registration from there with me giving the details, by the time I had got to giving him the email I gave up & hung up, after “MZ” exclaimed that I should have told him that my email address was “IDEL” having 3 times told him & spelt it for him that it was “IDEAL” & not IDEL, clearly your company don’t want the business with an attitude like that, so in having finally spoke to Becky who finally explains it’s a problem with your website & I cant recommend a friend until porting has taken place, so basically the letter & the cards are stating rubbish as to the recommend a friend issue, therefore I have now cancelled my subscription with you.

I anticipate your reply to this farce prior to me posting this letter on the forum & review sites on the internet.

Yours

Andy G*****

It sounds a bit like renting a car for EasyCar. That's a flipping pain in the backside too and anything but easy.

mate that's all pretty standard stuff for phone networks, esp delays etc. yes the operator was a bit crap but you've gotta remember he'd probably been doing the same things for 14 hours straight when you phoned him; call centre operations for new networks tend to go to the lowest bidder so you were probably talking to Garlands or one of the Indian operations rather than anyone actually from Easy.
Yeah I know it's not very good but it's not very good with any network so it's probably best to be patient if stuff isn't working.

Why do you think they run all of the Easy enterprise so cheap? You get what you pay for (well, in most cases).

pretty much... u really get what you pay for.. i tried out the local telecom company's services here once low cost but totally atrocious.. ended up shifting right back to my quite expensive but safe corp plans.
