Hi what programme do I need to convert mp3s to mp4s so that I can have them as my ringtones.

hmmz ..

this is a long shot , i dont know it will work but try using apple itunes to convert your mp3 to AAC (.Mp4A) format .. might work

vodafone encodes its phones with .DRM so that you have to buy their ringtones. DRM is digital rights management , a pain in the ass property rights thing that makes sure you use only authorised content for your ringtones. i dont think you have much of choice unless u

1) pay them 20 pounds to unlock for you the phone
2) buy ringtones from them
3) convert the file you want to a DRM extension ( extremely complicated)
