The very first time I saw a Siemens HHB-500 in person and in use, I wrote it off. It was just too damned big, looking for all the world like a dagger worn on the ear. That was back in March at CeBIT in Germany.
I'm pleased to say that I have since changed my mind. 180 degrees so.
But before I get into how I was converted, a few technical details are in order. First off, the headset is fairly typical in its weight, coming in at 24g. Siemens claim of 4 hours of talk time and 150 hours of standby time. But the big thing, and I mean that literally, is the size. The HHB-500 is quite long at 94mm. While that is still shorter than a Sony Ericsson HBH-30, it is significantly longer than a Nokia HDW-2 or Sony Ericsson HBH-60.....
