The phone looks quite interesting, if it not very expensive it might be successful.

Itsa twist 3230 - hope they spent some time making the keypad feel better than the 3230 though !!
Like the form and colours - could be a mid-budget winner as long as not overpriced...

Well it does have dedicated music functionality and a 2MP cam which might drive the price up.

should this thread be merged with the other one to prevent similar issues being discussed?

Nope, the price has always been in there.

I'm pretty excited...this phone actually seems attainable in comparison to the N90:rolleyes:
I like the whole idea about XpressMusic...definitely into the dedicated music keys and regular 3.5mm stereo headphone support;) Makes it a lot easier to shop, if they already pre-designate it. Now, will this branding apply to previous(-ly announced) models, like the N91, N90, N70, 6680, and 6630 Music Edition? It'd make sense...

will nokia ever release a series 40 version for these type of phones? I still prefer the Series 40 to the series 60... like the 6230....

@ Keabee: As technology progresses so does the software that commands it. I think people need to start getting used to more complex OS's on cellphones. I mean can you imagine still using Windows 95 instead of Windows XP, just because it was more basic?

well if ur accustomed only to 95 and need only software that would work with 95.
But i agree, as technology progresses the people will just learn to keep up or get left behind.

wishful thinking on my part... Ü
yeah.. i guess ultimately, series 40 users will have no choice then, if they start to phase out series 40 OS....

I don't think S40 will get phased out...
I mean, look at the 6280/6270...they're like part of the pinnacle of Nokia enginuity...and the 8800 that's THE premium phone by Nokia...
Besides, even if the high end phones become increasingly run on S60, S40 will always be there for the basic/cheap phones that are crucial to developping markets...

i guess that is exactly what all phone manufacturers are trying to do now, to further embed the functionalities of smartphones, so that they behave like normal "un-smart" phones.... S40 and so on..... the ultimate would be a S60 that behaves exactly like a S40.... but still, although i like the robustness of S40 OS, its not really intuitive. :)

THE ultimate S60 would have touch screen, VGA resolution, speed of s40.
I wonder how fast the 3250 would be.

lol, i was gonna say tons of compatible software and in the great body they always have
HTC Universal - VGA screen, speed of S40, tons of compatible software.... no great body though, :D
I think the chance for Nokia to replace Symbian with Linux + S60/S80 shell is greater than phasing out S40, :P
who can confirm the 2 megapixel camera? The 3250 definitely has a 2mp camera.

It's not intuitive? Wouldn't that be a bad thing...??
