http://www.club-siemens.net have just released the following news...

"The SX1 is now available in Germany ! (08.12.2003)
People in Germany can now order the SX1 from the My-Siemens webshop, which is the first ones to have the SX1 in stock. More webshops are expected to get the SX1 during this week and next week. We will keep you updated when the SX1 is available for world-wide shipping.

alot of cake for a handset with buttons placed on the sides :) Not worth it! This will be a big hit with geeks, though I have doubts that mainstream users will bother with it.

... when i 1st saw the pic of the phone i was thinking 'coooooooooool'... then 'what r those buttons on the side of the screen?... hmmm...darn!' after that i never bothered with it again

Its an interesting design. Phone companies seem to be coming up with the most original phone ideas. Some are cool, some are not!

its designed for two handed typing. I type with both hands anyway....one handed typing is sooooo slow.

I've heard that its small enough to type with one hand although i wouldnt think that it would be comfortable. Its smaller than the N6600.
