I was in the market for a couple of new phones for my self and my wife. A friend of mine who works on the sales side informed me that the e715 was being pulled due to "software problems". He had a hard time keeping the phones in stock (due to popularity), and was notified of the discontinued status when he was trying to order more in.
Not sure what this means for existing users, but I was rather excited for this phone. However he said that they will be releasing a newer model (minus the "software problems"). He was not sure of the time frame though.
Take this as a rumor for now, I haven't been able to confirm otherwise.
