hi there,
in your 6630/6680-81..... when you recieve a call, then you select to reject the call with a text, does the call get rejected?
on this 6630 that Im using - when I receive a call and choose to "reject it with with text", it doesn't. I mean, I've composed and had sent the text message already, yet the phonecall is still there - it doesn't get rejected.
Is this phone bugged? Has any of you guys experienced the same?
cheers!

You're both wrong..
that function is different. Reject phonecall with text means that when you eject a call a previously written sms will be sent to the caller, with a message like "can't talk right now" or anything else.. you choose.
it's not like you type a sms and sent and the call is automatically rejected. Read the instruction manual if you feel my explanation wasn't good.

I see....
so it's not a bug then... so the call continuing even after the text has been sent is just normal.
whew.
thanks!
cheers!

Answering or rejecting a call
• To answer the call, press .
• To mute the ringing tone when a call comes in, press Silence.
Tip! If a compatible
headset is connected to
the phone, you can
answer and end a call by
pressing the headset key.
• If you do not want to answer a call, press to reject it. The caller will hear a line busy
tone. If you have activated the Call divert→ If busy function to divert calls, rejecting
an incoming call will also divert the call. See Call diverting, p. ’104’.
When you reject an incoming call, you can also send a text message to the caller
informing why you could not answer the call. Select Options→ Send text message.
You can edit the text before sending it. See also Reject call with SMS,

Isn't it supposed to be able to send a text message even if there's a call on the other line?

yes but if the caller is persistent and is still calling, and you reject by SMS, when it says "sending sms" i get a message saying "message sending failed"

No I know the point is to send an SMS saying why you can't pick up the phone after you rejected the call...
So, is this feature only available on newer phones?

marwan, if you send a message when you're receiving comunication (calls or messages) the sms which is about to be sent, will fail...
