Nokia 6230 Landline Call Problems

hello everyone

I got a new phone its a Nokia 6230
which was originally on a vodaphone contract.

i put in a tmobile pay as u go sim card
obv it didnt work

So i came here went onto the 'unlocking website'
typed in imei
got the code typed it in
and job done 'phone restriction off'


so i put in the t-mobile sim card
the signal bar comes up i can make outgoing calls thats fine

i can ring from my mobile to the tmobile pay as u go number thats fine

but i tried ringing from my landline to the nokia 6230
it wont work i get 'the mobile is unavable'
i notice when i call a little telephone icon comes on the top right hand corner then it dissapears. i tried 2 sims in this phone still wont work.
rang t-mobile they tried to call it it still didnt work they suggested contacting vodaphone, which i will do after everyones thoughts here.

does anyone have a solution? or a reason why its not working?
im very sure its the phone.

Hmm would you be courageous enough to fully reset the phone? I think it's either *#335738# or *#7370# or *#7780#

i was awake till2am last night reset the phone and bingo its working

i dont know what the problem was but resetting the phone was the solutioin!

Gotta love reset codes! I thought I'd lost my 3650 for the 4th time, but starting up in safe mode and resetting it fixed the prob:D
