Recently bought a virtually new Siemens SL55 from eBay. It was immaculate and still had screen protector on - a beauty to look at!
It soon became obvious that there is some kind of loose connection in this phone so that it switches itself off even when the battery is completely charged. It will often do this just after I have sent a text. When it is in one of its 'not staying switched on' moods, the only way I can get it powered up and staying powered up is to switch it on, leave the slider open for a couple of minutes before putting in my PIN. THEN it stays on - until it decides to switch off again which might be an hour later or a couple of days later.
I have now read reviews on mobile-phones-uk.org.uk and see that other people have had this problem with these phones also.
Anyone on this forum know the answer - a permanent one that is?
Yeah I know I could send the phone back to the seller for a refund, and I may do that if I get no joy on this forum, but I just love the look of the phone and can't afford a new one.
