What Phone Should I Get???

I have the option of the 6680, n90 or any other Nokia S60 phone.
I love the symbian operating system, with all the array of applications etc, and the expansion possibilities.

So what is the drawbacks with the two phones?
Is it true that with the n90 you cannot install Unsigned apps?? Is this the case with the 6680?

I've got a Samsung D500 at the minute and absolutely hate it as it doesn't do anything.....

What phone does everyone think i should get???

As far as I know, N90 now accepts most S60 applications (some not until they are updated due to screen resolution).

Do you need/have 3G? If yes, 6630 is very reasonably priced nowadays too. 6680 is a very good phone (see Michael's review), the only major gripe some people have is the keypad. N70 is even better but won't be out until October or so and will be more expensive.

If you are into photography, N90 can almost pass as a replacement for a digital cam for occasional in-the-moment shots. It is a big phone, so you better have a look at it a few times to make up your mind.

If music is your thing, you might want to wait for N91 even.

If you're not so picky about photography or music, I would shoot for the N70...it's the jack-of-all-trades Nseries. The N90 and N91 are obviously more focused to their respective fields...

I would think even the 6630 would be more than decent...if you really care for flash and a more business-look, go for the 6680...

From your first post, I will have to agree with Carcomptoy and sugest the n70.

You have not specified any other interest but symbian and that should perform series 60 with the fastest speed out of all the other s60 phones.
Also its the smallest 3g s60 phone no?

I think the n70 is going to be a viable option. All i wanted really was symbian with a 2mp camera, which the n70 has.

I've had a 6600, n-gage and 7610 before, so that's why i want symbian, and the 2mp camera is just nice to have.

Does anyone know when the n70 is due for release in the UK (e.g.. when it will be in shops)??

UK..SEPTEMBER....but n90 isnt even out yet here so be aware there maybe delays
