My Nokia 6630

Ok im not asking for someone to help me unlock my phone but asking a question. I am coming to the end of my 12 month contract on my nokia 6630. I payed £50 for the phone plus a monthly contract price. This would then suggest that when the contract is over the phone is all mine. Yet this phone will only work with the sim card that im canceling. Bassically this means that when i cancel the contract the phone, that i paid money for, becomes usless???!

Do they not have to unlock it when the contract is over???

If it needs unlocking most networks will give code once 12 months up free of charge, well UK ones do anyway....

hmmm... ive tried it with a pay as you go sim , also from vodaphone, and it didnt accept it. But if they unlock it free as you say i will be happy.
