It has a shared memory pool, so it will keep on storing smses till the memory runs out :)

I'm not so sure, I think it's like the other series 40 phones, in which case about 150, either way, it should be enough. I'm just warning you in case it does run out at a bad time, on my 6230 (similar OS) it was 150 limit.

Thanks. Its important for me as my S700i only holds 10 :S

It's obviously set to SIM card only then as the S700(i) holds plenty more than that as do all SE phones back as far as the T610 and before... Check the message settings.

@DEViANT.. iam wondering about ur 150 contacts on ur 6230 !! i had a 168 or 169 contacts on my 6230 when i had it last year !!!! and it is even said by nokia that it is a shared memory as in all of their series 40 phones.
