Nokia 8800 Battery Issues

Hi,

I have just bought an 8800 and the battery has only lasted one day of standby with about 30-40mins of calls?

Did anyone else have issues like this?

If so how did you rectify it and how much better did it get?

That is just how the phone is im afraid mate,if u read previous topics u will find out the phone is really useless.

It gets much better over time... just make sure you let the batteries run out completelly before fully recharging them...

did you charge it for the longer period as required for the first charge by the manual?

The Battery has been much better today - it completely died yesterday but is now fully charged again and after extensive use today is still in good condition.

normal stuff it wil improve provided u allow it to discharge and recharge completely during first 3-4 cycles. most batteries dont hit their stride till then and some even take longer
