If I'm supposed to choose one of these, which one do you recommend and why?
There is no doubt about the imaging capabilities of K750i but what are the other advantages/disadvantages?

K750i, erm, i dunno, one maybe because the screen is physically larger. Although in pixel terms it is smaller (nokia 208 by 208, se 176 by 220)

Imo k750i Menu is aesthetically nicer, but nokia 6230i imo easier to navigate.

If I had to chose I would go for k750 i basically for the reason you stated.

If imaging isn't a top priority, I'd go with the 6230i...it's cheaper in general and IMO, even though they're both boring looking phones, the Nokia looks better. Cheaper, more capacious memory cards too to fit MP3s should you care for that. Of course, there's more opportunity to personalize it with faceplates and keypads and such...I agree with Jose_R.A.M. in that the S.E. menu looks better, but that the Nokia UI is much easier to navigate. Screen is smaller, but the resolution no doubt makes up for it.

To be honest, though, it really is no contest...as much as I love Nokia, between the two, the K750i is the winner hands down, at least with the camera, which to me is pretty important. If money is no object, shoot for the S.E. Basically not much difference between the phones except the cameras...and there it's a HUGE difference...

Yeah, I agree - if it's the camera, go for the k750. But if it's about the phone - go for the 6230i. The 6230i is more future-proofed too, having edge and ptt, as well as changeable covers.

Oh right, I forgot about EDGE...but then again, that's really only important in the Americas more than anywhere else...

I love Nokia's UI, but just for the camera alone you would have to go for the K750i here.

forgot about the prices of sony memory sticks. yikes...if you did want the k750i for imaging, ur gonna have to invest in a decent size card...

Either that or upload pics everyday:rolleyes:

It's too bad that the forte of the K750i (the camera) is hard to keep up for...the memory cards and such. To be honest, imo, I would rather go for a 6630 over the 6230i because while they might be similarly featured phones, the 6630 has a better camera and I would think better sound...plus the offline mode that'll enable you to use it in "restricted" places, a plus over the S.E. There's not much price difference between the two Nokias now anyways...

nah, too much fuss imo. i did before, with a CABLE! thats frustrating to say the least.

if do for a 6630 instead of a 6230i too, but that werent the option given. Plus it is that slight big bigger/heavier and slight bit fuglier.

6630 or k750i. id go k750i (but thas only cos i already have a s60 phone)
